Mexico City - Colonia San Miguel

Beautiful, well-located, secure space!

Thank you to Outsite Colonial San Miguel for a lovely stay! On the plus side, the house is beautiful, secure, and well-located. There is an ample shared kitchen and multiple spaces where folks can spread out/hang out. Edgar, the community manager, also did a great job of arranging group activities for those who wanted to be more social. That said, there are also a few downsides: mainly, the house is in need of some TLC and, despite requests being submitted, the repairs weren't completed during the time that we were there. I understand that the house isn't owned by Outsite so there's a process for getting things done but I would have expected that little things could be taken care of more quickly. All in all, this is a wonderful space that's worth a stay...just pack some patience and grace!

Great house in a more chill neighbourhood.

This outsite feels like sharing a big house together. It had a social group when I was there and the layout of the house makes it easy to bump into people and chat. I really like the location near the park for when you need a bit of chill time. It’s a quieter neighbourhood but still with lots of great coffee shops and restaurants. The roof terrace is also a great addition. I’d stay here again next time I’m in cdmx.

The overall experience and neighborhood was good. The maintenance could be taken more seriously !

Quiet, peaceful, great for longer stays

This is a great stay if you’re going to be long-term (a few weeks or more). While it’s definitely quieter than the Roma Sur property (which is where you should be if you want to be very social), that’s a great thing for a long stay. The property is beautiful, the kitchen worked out great for everyone sharing, and there is ample coworking space. It’s located near the Condesa neighborhood and Chapultepec park, where you’ll likely spend most of your time out here (about a 15 minute walk to each) with bars, restaurants, shops, and cafes. The complex that houses this property is all young families, so it’s very safe and wholesome. Edgar is a delightful host and this was a wonderful, peaceful stay in CDMX.

Location is strategic! Close to everything but on a quiet block.

Despite running out of water, and the rooms not having any heat, the stay was comfortable. In a charming neighborhood slightly removed from the louder Condesa or Roma, but still walkable to Chapultepec park. The doormen were also very sweet and accommodating.
